Perhaps that's because it was July 4 (holiday), and anyway I was entertaining friends. But, this marks the first Friday in a while I did NOT blog about the weekend. Oops.
So, friends are fun. Interesting when they do lots of work -- our friends this time are great cooks so we did NOTHING on Independence Day other than cook and eat. Not that there's anything wrong with that. In fact, there IS nothing wrong with that. However, I gained weight.
Oh well. If I've learned anything about myself (and this is a blog about things I learned today), it's that I have an infinite capacity for porterhouse steak. Also, most other food. And, let's not forget beer. Such is my list of main vices. Really.
